Coin collecting - Coin collecting is the hobby of collecting coins.
Elongated coin - Elongated coins are coins that have been flattened, stretched and imprinted with a new design with the purpose of creating a commemorative or souvenir token. The collecting of elongated coins is a branch of numismatics.
Brockage - In Coin collecting, brockage refers to a type of error coin in which a side of the coin has both the normal image and a mirror image of the opposite side impressed on it. This is caused by an already minted coin sticking to a die and impressing onto another coin.
Face value - Face value is the value of a coin or paper money printed on the coin or bill itself by the minting authority. While the face value usually refers to the true value of the coin or bill in question (as with circulation coins) it can sometimes be largely symbolic, as is often the case with bullion coins.
